Tips on storing DNA templates?

Hello there! I just started doing experiments on bacterial DNA and I would like your opinion on storing DNA templates. Which are the desired and most optimal conditions?

Generally, I would suggest you to be on the safe side and store it at -20°C if you are planning on using it frequently. For long term storage (years) I would store it at -80°C and if it’s genomic DNA that you are going to be using for up to a month you can even store it at 4°C.
